SECDEP is an NGO following the Grameen Methodology providing financial services to poor women across the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.  Originating as a food program in the early 1970s, it has evolved to provide both enterprise development and health-related education for poor women in the rural communities.  Located in the province of Iloilo on the island of Panay, SECDEP is currently serving more than 9,000 members across 7 branches with the primary objective being to help members become self-reliant economically, socially, and spiritually.  SECDEP was the first Mifos Cloud customer leveraging Grameen's hosted offering in the Amazon EC2 Cloud to automate their operations and smoothly transition from a manual Excel-based MIS. After the transition from Grameen Foundation, hosting and support was taken over by Conflux Technologies who continues to support them remotely from India.
